ArmInfo. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan discussed prospects for developing cooperation in the field of customs regulation at a meeting with Minister for Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Ruslan Davydov.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian government, in particular, the parties considered ways to improve the efficiency of customs transit procedures in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the use of navigation seals, the development of electronic commerce and the exchange of customs information.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister also touched upon the current state of cooperation in this area.
Earlier, Ruslan Davydov noted the significant contribution of the Armenian customs service to the development of the national single window system, thanks to which more than 200 thousand permits are issued electronically in Armenia per year.

According to the RA Statistical Committee, Armenia's foreign trade turnover with other EAEU countries has worsened in annual dynamics from a 3-fold growth to a 61.5% decline, amounting to $2.3 billion in January-April 2025, which was the result of a significant drop in imports by 73% (against a 5.4-fold growth a year ago) and exports that lingered in decline with a slowdown from 19.8% to 5.8%, the volumes of which amounted to $1.3 billion and $960.7 million, respectively.
