ArmInfo. On June 17, RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received a delegation led by Alexander Timan, the newly appointed head of the IMF Armenian mission.
As reported by the government press service, at the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated Alexander Timan on assuming the post of head of the Armenian mission and expressed confidence in the continuation of long-term effective cooperation with the IMF.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the macroeconomic policy of the Republic of Armenia and the latest economic events in detail. Particular attention was paid to the government's spending priorities for the coming years, including education, housing for internally displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, economic inclusion, and several other areas. The parties also exchanged views on potential areas of technical collaboration.
