The Tashir Group of Companies, owned by billionaire Samvel Karapetyan, who is currently under investigation in Armenia, sees no risks for its business in Russia and continues its work, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the group's Telegram channel. The Investigative Committee of Armenia has accused Karapetyan of inciting the seizure of power; he has been detained and does not admit his guilt.
"Tashir Group of Companies continues to operate as usual. There are no risks for the business and activities of the fund bearing the same name. All current and ongoing projects of the group are functioning without any changes. The group is moving forward with all previously announced plans and initiatives in both Russia and Armenia," the statement says.
