ArmInfo. After 3 years of painstaking work, the Council of the International Business Relations Support (CIBRS) has finally announced the National Warehouse program strategy. This program will assist Armenian producers in exporting their goods to the US and Cyprus markets, as announced by CIBRS head Mariam Manukyan in a conversation with journalists during the event dedicated to the Council's programs and activities on July 3.
She explained that CIBRS, as part of this program, organizes consolidated exports of various manufacturers, including light industry goods, alcoholic and dairy products. Additionally, the Council undertakes to resolve various export-related issues, such as customs clearance, finding suppliers, etc. The Council's partners in promoting international business relations provided support in renting premises, providing refrigeration equipment, among other things. In total, as Manukyan noted, the operation of the warehouse costs investors 580,000 euros per year. Answering a question from an ArmInfo correspondent, the head of the Council said that currently, the focus is on assisting 60-80 entrepreneurs entering the markets of Cyprus and the United States. However, there are plans to expand the project to the Asian region. Particularly, the delegation will soon visit Shanghai to discuss opening a in one of China's Free Trade Zones. Moreover, Manukyan is confident that in the future, it will be possible to increase the number of entrepreneurs who will receive such support.
