Armenia and Bulgaria have ratified a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Innovation and Growth of the Republic of Bulgaria in technological innovation and scientific research. According to the press service of the Ministry of Technology and Industry, the document envisages enhancing cooperation in several strategic areas: artificial intelligence, space research, digital healthcare and biotechnology, exchange of IT specialists, and development of the startup ecosystem.
The parties confirmed their willingness to support innovation, promote the digital and environmental transition, introduce modern technologies and implement the applied research results.
Note that the ratification of the memorandum took place within the framework of the ninth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation between Armenia and Bulgaria in Sofia.
