ArmInfo. In June 2025, Armenia saw a 19.1% increase in tourist numbers compared to the same period last year, the Tourism Committee reports.
Specifically, 215, 253 tourists visited the RA, up from 180, 718 in June of the previous year. In the first half of the year, tourist visits totaled over 907.13 thousand, slightly lower than the 946.1 thousand visits in recorded in January-June 2024. The majority of tourists came from Russia (36.9%), Georgia (14.4%) and Iran (8.5%), followed by visitors from the USA, China, India, France, Germany, Ukraine, and the Philippines.
In 2024, Armenia welcomed 2,208,179 foreign tourists, or 4.7% less than in 2023. The decrease is primarily due to a decline in Russian tourist numbers.
