ArmInfo. Narek Karapetyan, Vice President of the Tashir Group of Companies and Samvel Karapetyan's nephew, has advised the Armenian Government to implement the legal court decision regarding the nationalization of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC as soon as possible.
In response to the Armenian Government's Facebook post discussing the decision of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce on the nationalization of ENA, Karapetyan wrote that the Armenian authorities had the opportunity to present their position in court, but it was deemed unfounded. "Therefore, I suggest that you adhere to European values and implement the legal court decision as soon as possible," Karapetyan wrote.
Even before the Armenian authorities released their stance on the verdict, Narek Karapetyan mentioned on his Facebook page that the court had prohibited the Armenian government from confiscating or selling the assets of the company; changing ENA management structure, revoking ENA's activity license and impeding the company's regular business activities. "This verdict shows that justice in the world is not achieved through Facebook, as is currently happening in Armenia," Karapetyan noted.
