ENA announces tender for preliminary market research for acquisition  of design services

ArmInfo.  In order to ensure its activities and fulfill its obligations, Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC (ENA) plans to hold an open tender for the purchase of design services in the energy sector (cable and overhead power lines, construction of substations and creation of other engineering  infrastructure).

In order to ensure the objectivity, inclusiveness and transparency of  the tender initiated by the company, it is planned to conduct a  preliminary market study, conduct price research and receive price  offers from the widest possible range of economic entities in the  industry.

To conduct price research, the company invites legal entities and  individual entrepreneurs who have expressed a desire or interest in  participating to send the name of the organization or individual  entrepreneur, contact phone number and email address to the e- mail  address below by August 6 of this year. After the expiration of the  specified period, in order to ensure the further process of  conducting price research, the company representative will contact  all economic entities that have expressed interest in participating  in the process specified in the notification. Since 2016, Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC has belonged to the  Tashir Group of Companies, founded by Russian-Armenian businessman  Samvel Karapetyan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced his  intention to nationalize ENA after Samvel Karapetyan expressed public  support for the AAC. Then the Armenian parliament adopted a package  of legislative amendments aimed at nationalizing the company ENA,  which belongs to the Tashir Group of Companies, and on July 18, by  decision of the head of the Public Services Regulatory Commission,  Romanos Petrosyan was appointed as the temporary manager of Elseti  within the framework of administrative proceedings and the  application of preventive measures against ENA.
