ArmInfo. In 2024, Armenia saw a slight increase  in its natural gas imports, rising by 0.1% to 2,728,077.4 cubic meters, with a  0.5%  increase in customs value to  472.3 million. To  According to data from of the RA Customs Service,  traditionally, the majority of  (83.8%) of natural gas was supplied  to Armenia from Russia.  Specifically, during the reported period,  2,288,457 cubic meters of natural gas were imported from the Russian  Federation, showing a  3.1% annual volume decrease and a 2.8% decline  in customs value to $397.8 million. The remaining 439,620 cubic  meters  was supplied from Iran, with an annual growth of 20.5%. At  the same time, the customs value increased by 22.5% to $30.4 million.

According to the source, liquefied gas supplies for the reporting  period increased by 53.6%, amounting to 220.7 thousand tons, with a  customs value increase of 76.4% - to $85.3 million. As in the case of  natural gas, the main volume of liquefied gas imports came from  Russian - 96% or over 211.9 thousand tons, with an annual growth of  53.5% and a customs value of 76.7% to $81.6 million.

Imports of liquefied gas from Iran increased by 2.1 times to 7.7  thousand tons, with an increase in customs value by 2.3 times - to  $3.3 million. The share of Iraqi liquefied gas made up 0.5% or over 1  thousand tons of imports, which is lower than the figure for the  previous year by 48.1%, while the customs value decreased  proportionally (by 48.3%), amounting to $398.4 thousand. Very small  supplies of liquefied gas to Armenia came from the UAE, Turkey,  China, Georgia, Germany, Kazakhstan.
