Yerevan to host Armenia-EAEU international conference

Yerevan to host Armenia-EAEU international conference

ArmInfo.  The international conference "Armenia-EAEU" will be held in Yerevan on September 5, 2025. According to the press service of the Russian Trade Mission in  Armenia, the event will bring together leading economic and political  analysts, including famous Russian experts Dmitry Simes and Fyodor  Lukyanov.

The conference will present an analysis of Armenia's relations with  the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), an assessment of the EAEU's  impact on Armenia's economic and political development, as well as  prospects for deepening integration within the Union.

"The conference will provide a platform for discussing key issues of  Armenia's cooperation with the EAEU and developing recommendations  for the further development of integration processes," the Russian  Trade Mission in the Republic added.

According to the source, the conference is organized by the  socio-political movement "My Country, My Armenia" led by Mher  Avetisyan.

Recall that earlier, in response to ArmInfo's request regarding the  trip of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the meeting of the  Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kyrgyzstan, the government's  press service responded that the Armenian delegation would be  represented by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, since the  Armenian Prime Minister would be on vacation from August 12 to 15  inclusive.

Meanwhile, such steps, including Yerevan's decision to launch the  process of joining the European Union (EU), are viewed in Moscow as  the beginning of Armenia's withdrawal from the Eurasian Economic  Union (EAEU).
