
ArmInfo. Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia Vardan Kostanyan discussed the progress of infrastructure projects in Armenia with a delegation led by Iran's Deputy Minister of Oil, Ahmad Zeraatkar.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration of Armenia, the meeting focused on the projects "Construction of a 400 kV Iran-Armenia Overhead Power Line and Corresponding Substation" and "Gas in Exchange for Electricity", as well as future cooperation plans.
The Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of Iranian companies involvement in projects implemented in Armenia to strengthen economic ties between the two countries. In turn, Zeraatkar noted the successful partnership between the countries in various areas. According to the source, the meeting was also attended by Abbas Yalan, Director of Trade at Iran's National Company for Refining and Distribution, Hossein Mohammad Hosseini, Director of International Relations at Iran's National Gas Company, and other industry experts.
