
ArmInfo. The execution of tax revenues of the state budget of Armenia for 7 months of 2025 amounted to 78.8% or 424.8 billion drams less than the planned figure for this period. This was reported by the Budget Office of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the information, during the reporting period, tax revenues increased by 14.7% or 201.9 billion drams compared to the 2024 figure, and July increased by 18.1% compared to July last year. As a result, the figure for 7 months amounted to 1 trillion 574.7 billion drams, against 1 trillion 372.8 billion drams for 2024.
In particular, for January-July of this year. VAT collections increased by 24.4% to 488 billion drams, up from 392.2 billion drams for the first 7 months of 2024. The share of VAT in the tax revenues of the RA state treasury increased from 28.6% last year to 31%.
Income tax revenues increased from 375.1 billion drams in 2024 to 412.5 billion drams. (10% increase). At the same time, the share in total taxes decreased from 27.3% to 26.2%.
Income tax collections amounted to 303.5 billion drams, up from 254.9 billion drams last year (19.1% more), the share in total taxes increased from 18.6% to 19.3%.
80.8 billion drams were collected from excise tax, compared to 66.9 billion drams for the same period of 2024 (an increase of 20.8%). The share in total tax revenues increased from 4.9% to 5.1%.
Revenues from state duties increased by 19.2% - from 40.9 billion drams to 48.8 billion drams (the share in taxes was 3.1%).
Customs duties for the reporting period increased by 0.6% - from 42.6 billion drams to 42.9 billion drams. The share in total state treasury revenues was 2.7%.
Revenues from environmental taxes and natural resource use fees were 37.7% less than for the same period of 2024 - 33 billion drams against 53 billion drams last year.
According to the state budget for 2025, GDP growth is expected to be 5.1% this year. Revenues will amount to 2 trillion 873.6 billion drams, of which 2 trillion 720.3 billion drams are tax revenues and state duties. Expenditures are projected at 3 trillion 441.6 billion drams, of which 2 trillion 706.8 billion drams will be allocated for current expenditures.
