
ArmInfo. In August, on average of over 101 trucks with export products from Armenia enter Russia daily, as reported by Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on his Facebook page. According to him, the total number of vehicles is 2,427, with 610 loaded with drinks, 447 with fruits, 234 with perlite sand, 315 with vegetables, 141 with trees and plants, 84 with processed vegetables and fruits, 75 with stone and gypsum products, 68 with fish, 79 with electronic and mechanical equipment, 21 with tobacco, 19 with dairy products, 16 with knitwear, etc.
Note that today, Garnik Danielyan, an MP from the Armenia faction, reported on social media that Armenian trucks are being turned back at the Upper Lars checkpoint. In response to such statements, the Minister of Economy accused the latter of spreading lies and stated his intention to provide daily updates on the movement of Armenian trucks carrying export products.
