ArmInfo. The decision of Armenia to leave the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to gain membership in the European Union (EU) should be made solely by the Armenian people, and all factors should be weighed, as stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk, Interfax reports.
"Recently, Nikolay Vovayevich Pashinyan (Prime Minister of Armenia - ed.) had said that it is impossible to be a member of the EAEU and the EU at the same time. And if such a decision is ever made, I am sure that a variety of factors influencing the decision-making in one direction or another will be weighed," the deputy head of the Russian government said.
