
ArmInfo. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan, at a meeting with Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Mohammad Sadeq Azimifar, stressed the importance of developing close partnership between Armenia and Iran in the economic sphere.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy, Papoyan added that the Armenian side is interested in high-quality and competitive Iranian liquefied gas, which can become the basis for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation, contributing to strengthening the country's energy security.
Prospects for further cooperation were noted, including: expansion of trade in oil and oil products, development of liquefied and natural gas supply infrastructure, joint investments in the energy sector, and the effective use of regional transport and logistics hubs.
