1.5 million tourists visited Armenia in January-August

ArmInfo. In January-August 2025, 1.5 million tourists visited Armenia, a 1.4% increase  compared to the  previous year, as evidenced by  data from the Tourism  Committee.

Traditionally, the lion's share of tourists are citizens of the  Russian Federation (41%), followed by tourists from Georgia (13%),  Iran (8%), the USA (3%), France and China (2% each), Germany, India,  Ukraine and the Philippines (1% each), etc.  In August alone, the  number of tourists visiting Armenia increased by 26.8%, reaching  334.4 thousand tourists. On an annual basis (August 2025 to August  2024), growth was 11.1%.
