No sentimentality: Armenia s country risk premium went down after  Washington agreements

ArmInfo. Achieving peace will result in positive development in the economy and an enhanced business environment. Martin Galstyan, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia, made this statement  during a press conference on  September 16.

"And what we have now, and this is a real assessment, not based on  sentimentality, is a decrease in the country risk premium after  August 8 (the day the trilateral declaration was signed in Washington  by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and the United States)," he  noted. The head of the Central Bank also said that after the final  signing of the peace treaty, the country risk premium will go down  even more. "But to what extent it will be adjusted downwards - I find  it difficult to say," Galstyan concluded.
