ArmInfo.Armenia highly appreciates the Netherlands' support in developing trade opportunities and expanding access to the European market, as stated by RA Foreign Minister Aratat Mirzoyan during a meeting with Dutch Foreign Minister David van Well, the RA MFApress service reports.
According to the source, the ministers held a discussion first in a restricted format and then continued in an enlarged format with the participation of their delegations. Ararat Mirzoyan and David van Well discussed joint activities aimed at deepening the strategic partnership between Armenia and the Netherlands, including through the implementation of the Joint declaration signed between the two countries in March. The interlocutors exchanged views on opportunities to expand economic cooperation and business ties, alongside an active political dialogue.
Ararat Mirzoyan praised the Netherlands' support for developing trade opportunities and expanding access to the European market, as well as the allocation of additional financial resources to Armenia under the World Bank's Global Concessional Financing Facility. He emphasized the significance of Armenia's cooperation with the Netherlands, including within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership. In this context, discussions focused on steps to deepen the partnership through the consistent application of existing EU instruments and strengthening Armenia's resilience.
The meeting also touched upon cooperation in multilateral forums. The foreign ministers of Armenia and the Netherlands exchanged views on international and regional developments. Ararat Mirzoyan, expressing gratitude for the Netherlands' stance on the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, provided details of these documents.
