ArmInfo. "There are transportation restrictions and distance between Armenia and China, but I am confident that the unblocking of regional communications will enable resolving a considerable part of these issues," Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters during a briefing on September 18.
"Imagine a possibility to load cargo onto trains being in Armenia and unload them in China. That's a completely different economic reality," he said. Pashinyan recalled that as a result of his meeting with the Chinese President, an agreement on strategic partnership was signed. According to the Prime Minister, this is a positive political signal for the Armenian business community in the context of developing cooperation with Chinese partners in the economic and other sectors. "We have established a quite specific strategic partnership and it should develop, including through mutual investments," he emphasized.
