ArmInfo.In January-August 2025, state budget revenues of the Republic of Armenia amounted to 1 trillion 868.5 billion drams. Compared to the same period of the previous year, this represents a 15.1% increase, or 244.5 billion drams.
According to the information bulletin of the Armenian Mifnin on state budget execution, state treasury expenditures in January-August 2025 amounted to 1,929.2 billion drams. Compared to the same period of 2024, this figure increased by 12.9%, or 220.6 billion drams.
During the reporting period, the state budget of the Republic of Armenia was executed with a deficit of 60.7 billion drams, compared to 84.6 million drams in the same period of the previous year.
As a reminder, the 2025 state budget projects GDP growth of 5.1%. Revenues are projected at 2 trillion 873.6 billion drams, of which 2 trillion 720.3 billion drams will come from taxes and state duties (2 trillion 759.9 billion drams in the original budget). Expenditures are expected at 3 trillion 441.6 billion drams, of which 2 trillion 706.8 billion drams will be allocated for current expenditures. The deficit will amount to 604 billion drams. Capital expenditures will reach 734.9 billion drams (6.7% of GDP). The GDP deflator is expected to be 2.5%, and average inflation is expected to be 3.6%.
