On October 2, at its regular session, the Armenian government adopted a draft law providing for the redistribution and amendment of the RA Law "On the State Budget for 2025" and "On Amending and Supplementing the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No. 2060-N of December 27, 2024" <in connection with the need to ensure the normal operations of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia>.
As stated in the explanatory note to the document, the draft law proposes amending the procurement plan nomenclature aimed at improving technical equipment and completing construction work at individual facilities within the funds allocated in the 2025 state budget of the NSS of the Republic of Armenia.
"As a result of the adoption of the draft law, work on the tasks assigned to the Service will be carried out more effectively," the document states.
The amount of additional funding has not been disclosed.
