AI predetermines Armenia`s future - premier

ArmInfo. Just as globally, technologies are being developed in Armenia, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on October 14 at the Silicon Mountains 2025 forum, "Anatomy of AI," dedicated to artificial intelligence.

He stated that technological tools are being developed, and it is  crucial to foster public understanding of their usefulness so that  they become accessible to the public. The concept of technology  itself, the head of government noted, is not unprecedented, as  technological development is an ongoing process. Speaking about  technological development, the prime minister cited the example of  agriculture, which initially used certain technologies but is now  looking toward intensive agriculture, which requires the use of  various mechanisms.

Pashinyan emphasized that artificial intelligence is also developing,  adapting to natural phenomena.  "Technology has been and will  continue to be a means of improving people's lives, despite the fact  that all technologies, along with their positive effects, also carry  threats, including people's dependence on them, and rightly so. But  in any case, it is 100% true that artificial intelligence determines  Armenia's future," the Prime Minister stated, adding that the  country's authorities have provided and will continue to provide  every possible assistance in developing this sector.

Pashinyan noted that the first area of assistance is the development  of the education system, the second is education, and the third is  education. Other areas of development include the creation of good  infrastructures, the implementation of good policies, and sound  regulations, which the government intends to address. "But before we  talk about how to create them, we need to answer the question: what  is needed to have good infrastructures, regulations, and policies?  The answer is the same: education, education, and education," the  Prime Minister emphasized.

The head of government welcomed the fact that technology companies  have already begun to contribute to the general education sector. He  noted that while this may not formally be called an investment,  that's essentially what's happening.

It's worth noting that the Silicon Mountains 2025 Anatomy of AI  forum, dedicated to artificial intelligence, kicked off on October  14. This year, the event will bring together more than ten global  experts and industry leaders to demonstrate the inner workings of  AI-from basic algorithms to the hidden complexities of neural  networks and big data.
