ArmInfo.  Starting January 1, 2026, all Armenian citizens, not just pensioners, will be  eligible to receive cashback on their bank cards, as stated by RA  Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan during parliamentary committee  debated on the 2026 draft state budget on October 27.

He said that starting in the new year, the cashback for pensioners  will increase from 12% to 20%. For other working citizens making  purchases via non-cash transactions, the cashback rate will be 2%.  The funds will only  be transferred  to ArCa cards. However, this  change will not apply to games with winnings.  Hovhannisyan believes  this measure will promote cashless trade and strengthen the  capabilities of the national payment system.

According to the Finance Minister, 3.5 billion drams will be  allocated from the state budget for the 2% cashback, and 20 billion  drams for pensioner refunds.
