Condominium management rules to be modified in Armenia

ArmInfo.  Ahead of the launch of advanced training courses for apartment building managers, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Yelizar Vardanyan,  Chairman of the Urban Development Committee, with the participation  of members of the commission established to assess the knowledge of  individuals performing or intending to perform apartment building  management functions.

According to the press service of the Urban Development Committee,  during the meeting, Yegiazar Vardanyan noted that, as part of the  transformation of apartment building management into a specialized  activity, legislative and by-laws regulating this process have  already been adopted, and universities and organizations implementing  additional educational programs have been notified of the submission  of proposals for organizing advanced training courses. All  regulations related to the training of apartment building managers  are posted in the "Programs" section of the Urban Development  Committee's website www.minurban.am (https://minurban.am/hy/bbsh).

"We can confirm that we are ready to jointly initiate significant and  important changes that will have numerous ripple effects in the areas  of maintenance, proper operation, and management of the housing  stock. For the first time in the Republic of Armenia, professional  training will be organized for individuals engaged in or aspiring to  engage in building management, which doubles the committee's  responsibility in terms of properly initiating the process, ensuring  its smooth progress, and preventing potential obstacles.  The Urban  Development Committee, in turn, will provide comprehensive support to  all partners to achieve the program's goals," emphasized Yeghiazar  Vardanyan.

At the meeting, issues related to the launch, duration, and format of  the courses were discussed, considering the importance of attracting  participants from the regions, as well as the issue of broad  awareness among both working professionals and interested parties.
