
ArmInfo. From January to September 2025, 39% of taxpayers included in the list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers in the Republic of Armenia were active in the trade sector.
According to data from the consulting company Modex, these included 392 business entities that contributed 497 billion drams to the state budget, accounting for 25% of the total revenues controlled by the State Revenue Committee (SRC).
The top taxpayers also included representatives of the manufacturing industry (145 enterprises) and the financial and insurance sector (49), which contributed 214 billion and 170 billion drams, respectively. Next came the information and communications sector, with 73 business entities contributing 78 billion drams to the state budget. Rounding out the top five industry leaders is the construction sector (94 companies), which paid 69 billion drams.
Overall, the largest taxpayers in the top five industries collectively accounted for 71.4% of total tax revenues. It's worth noting that, according to State Revenue Committee data, the 1,000 largest taxpayers in Armenia contributed 1.4 trillion drams to the state budget in January-September, an 8.8% increase from the same period last year.
