ArmInfo.As a result of increasing the cashback threshold for the pensioner cashback program from 12% to 20%, citizens' pensions will increase by 3,000-4,000 rubles, as stated by Arsen Torosyan, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, during the draft state budget debates in the National Assembly on October 30.
According to Torosyan, currently, 350,000 citizens are utilizing the program. With the implementation of these incentives, the ministry predicts that the number of beneficiaries will increase to 420,000 by the end of next year.
"Thanks to these cashbacks, pensions will nearly reach 90% of the consumer basket. Of course, this does not fully cover the consumer basket, but it is already a significant step in this direction," the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs noted.
