ArmInfo. Economic activity in Armenia grew by 7.6% year- on-year in January-September 2025, according to the Eurasian Development Bank's (EDB) weekly macroeconomic review.
"The main drivers were the services sector (+9.9%) and construction (+20.7%). The decline in industry (- 5.7%) persisted due to the exhaustion of the effect of increased trade and precious metal processing in early 2024, which also led to a decline in exports (-46.8%) and imports (-33.3%) over the first nine months. In the third quarter, industry returned to growth (+5.1%), which will support economic activity for the remainder of the year," the EDB added.
