Wine production dropped by 36% and  cognac by 34.4% in the first nine  months 

ArmInfo.  During the first nine months of 2025, production of cognac, wine, and whiskey in Armenia decreased, while production of sparkling wine, beer, vodka,  liqueur, and other alcoholic beverages increased, according to data  from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Specifically, cognac production decreased by 34.4% over the reporting  period, to 9.5 million liters, whiskey by 11.8%, to 3.1 million  liters, and wine by 36%, to 4.7 million liters.

Meanwhile, production of sparkling wine (champagne) increased by  8.5%, to 716,000 liters. During the reporting period, 1.2 million  liters of vodka, liqueur, and other spirits were produced in Armenia,  up 28.6% from the previous year. Beer production increased by 11.4%  year-on-year to 25.8 million liters.
