ArmInfo. As of October 31, instead of the planned 72.268 billion drams, Yerevan managed to collect 70.136 billion drams in revenues in January-October. David Hakobyan, Acting Head of the Yerevan Municipality's Revenue Accounting and Collection Department, made this statement during a working meeting at the Mayor's Office on November 17.
Hakobyan mentioned that Yerevan's revenue plan has been 97% fulfilled. He noted that the main reasons for the shortfall were revenues from public transportation fares and design and construction permits.
According to Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, the city has increased its revenues by 32% in one year and almost tripled them over the past three years. "Thanks to this, we are able to carry out large-scale work on the city's roads, in parks, courtyards, etc.", the mayor said.
