Emphasizing the importance of Armenia's energy security, the development of renewable energy sources, their efficient operation, and industry discussions in this area, Team Group of Companies supported the annual Robust Armenia conference. This year's event was held under the slogan "Efficiency is the key to Armenia's energy security."
During the conference, Team presented the sustainable development activities of its member companies, including a project to quadruple renewable energy sources over the past few years, the launch of a solar power plant in Gegharkunik with an annual output of 16 million kWh, and more.
During the conference, Aram Barseghyan, Deputy Director of Team Telecom Armenia, the largest company in the Team Group, touched on the synergies between the Group's companies to improve energy efficiency and create more energy-saving solutions through joint efforts.
"When launching each new project, we examine not only its business efficiency but also its potential environmental impact to select the most effective solution and adhere to sustainable development principles. We don't limit ourselves to simply implementing innovative solutions; we create infrastructure that will last for decades and be efficient not only technologically but also environmentally," he noted.
According to the company's press service, the conference included a panel discussion on "Innovation and Sustainable Development: Opportunities and Risks," during which Nelli Malyan, Director of Team Systems, a member of the Team Group, presented the path to expanding Team Energy's network of electric vehicle charging stations and fostering a culture of electric transport use in Armenia.
"Today, with over 200 electric vehicle charging stations in Armenia, 70% of which are located in the regions, we have already provided the minimum number sufficient for comfortable travel for drivers throughout the country. We will continue to expand the number and geography of stations, focusing on their capacity to ensure fast charging and time savings." Team Energy's 240 kW fast charging stations have already been installed both in the capital and in the regions, and work in this direction is actively ongoing," she emphasized.
