
ArmInfo. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan announced in his FAcebook post that the country had a record number of jobs in October of this year.
Specifically, Papoyan noted that there were 810,074 jobs in the country as of the reporting date, showing a 3.9% increase or 30,923 jobs compared to the previous year.
It should be noted that, according to the Statistical Committee, the employment rate in Armenia was 51.2% at the end of the second quarter of 2025, down from 52.1% in the same period in 2024, and up from 50.1% in the first quarter of 2025. The unemployment rate also decreased from 13.8% to 12.3% over the year (compared to 14% in the first quarter of 2025).
