
ArmInfo.The first industry meeting and discussion with jewelry industry representatives was held under the leadership of Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee.
According to the SRC press service, the meeting was attended by representatives from the RA Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy, deputy chairmen of the SRC, heads of SRC departments, and representatives from the jewelry industry.
When discussing public debates, the SRC Chairman emphasized the importance of industry meetings and partnerships in promoting open and transparent discussions. Specifically, participants focused on the need for effective tax administration within the industry, as well as issues related to tax calculation, documentation, and the reduction of the shadow economy. Industry specifics, internal and external competitive advantages, and legislative regulations were also discussed. Throughout the meeting, industry representatives raised issues they had encountered in their work. They also made constructive suggestions. Summarizing the discussion, the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee outlined the key areas for addressing the industry's current challenges and noted that the Committee would take necessary actions.
