
ArmInfo. Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Ruben Simonyan received a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Azat Atayev.
According to the ministry's press service, Simonyan presented Armenia's experience in technological education. He noted that Armenia and Turkmenistan have effective cooperation in various fields and significant potential for further development.
In turn, Azat Atayev presented Turkmenistan's vision for advancing technological education, the educational reforms under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan in education and high technology, and the accomplishments in strengthening the connection between education, science, and industry. He spoke about innovative digital solutions and technological developments from universities being applied in industry. In this regard, the Deputy Minister expressed interest in practices employed in Armenia and the expansion of cooperation formats in this area. During the meeting, the parties discussed the Engineering City project, digitalization and cybersecurity initiatives, regional technology development programs, and the experience of collaborating with international accelerators to support the startup ecosystem.
In conclusion, the Deputy Ministers agreed to continue discussions with relevant communities in both countries to identify specific areas for further cooperation.
