International wine tasting competition Concours Mondial de Brussels  2026 to be held in Armenia

ArmInfo.  Armenia will host the international wine tasting competition Concours Mondial de Brussels 2026. The Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia approved the program of  events for the competition at a regular government meeting on  December 11.

Concours Mondial de Brussels is considered one of the most  prestigious wine tasting competitions in the world. In 2026, Armenia  won the right to host the competition, competing with Georgia,  Romania, and Moldova. The competition will promote Armenia's  international recognition and the development of winemaking.

The event will be organized by the . The event's total budget is 883.76 million  drams, of which 684 million drams will be allocated in 2026 from the  state budget through reallocation, with the remainder coming from  sponsors and international partners.

Vinopres S.A., which signed an agreement with the government, will  finance approximately 250 million drams, including travel and  accommodation costs for 400 participants, equipment, and the  organizational team.
