ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan confirmed that Hungary has lifted its veto on the decision to allocate 20 million euros to Armenia within the framework of the European Peace Facility.
"Yes, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has reported to me that our Hungarian partners have agreed to the decision and there is a consensus. Once a de jure decision is made, it will be published," Pashinyan told reporters on December 18. He noted that the funds will be spent on the peace agenda.
Recall that the day before, RFE/RL European Editor Rikard Jozwiak announced the lifting of the veto. On his X account, he reported that Hungary had finally lifted its veto and the decision would be made official in January 2026.
