
ArmInfo. Foreign trade makes a significant contribution to the economic growth of the South Caucasus region, according to researchers at the Gnomon Wise Research Institute in their December report.
According to their estimates, the South Caucasus region's trade turnover for the first eleven months of 2025 amounted to $85,633.0 million, including exports of $36,761.3 million and imports of $48,871.7 million. For the same period last year, foreign trade turnover amounted to $92,283.2 million. As a result, the region's foreign trade decreased by 7.2%.
In the first eleven months of last year, Azerbaijan's share of trade turnover was 51.3%, while Georgia and Armenia's were 26.6% and 22.1%, respectively.
In November, trade turnover increased by 1.4% year-on-year compared to the same month last year. Monthly exports and imports were valued at $3,753.8 million and $4,759.9 million, respectively.
