
ArmInfo. In 2025, 2.26 million tourists visited Armenia, marking a 2.7% increase compared to 2024, according to data from the Tourism Committee.
Russia remains the primary source of tourists (41% or 921.7 thousand people), followed by tourists from Georgia (13% or 288.5 thousand people), Iran (8% or 182.3 thousand people), the USA (3% or 60.8 thousand people), China (2% or 44.6 thousand people), Germany (1.5% or 34.1 thousand people), India and Ukraine (1.2% each or 28.4 thousand and 27.6 thousand people, respectively), Italy (1% or 22.6 thousand people), etc.
Moreover, people aged 35-44 (33%) most often prefer to vacation in Armenia, followed by those aged 25- 34 (16%), 45-54 (15%), 55-64 (11%), over 65 (8%), 18-24 years old (7%), under 12 (6%), and 13-17 years old (4%). In December alone, the number of tourists visiting Armenia was 139,900 tourists, which is 20.7% lower than the November figure. When comparing December 2025 to December 2024, there was a 7.5% increase.
