ArmInfo. Armenia's metallurgical industry reversed its 2% growth rate in January-November 2025 to a 3% decline. According to data from the RA Statistics Committee, this was due to a deterioration in the performance of its dominant product, copper concentrate.
Specifically, the annual production of copper concentrate reversed from 6.6% growth to a 4.7% decline, reaching a volume of 267,500 tons.
Molybdenum concentrate production continued to decline, decelerating from 26% to 13.6%, reaching a volume of 13,700 tons. A downward trend was also recorded in ferromolybdenum production, with growth rates decelerating from 42.7% to 31.9%, reaching 2,700 tons. Zinc concentrate production maintained growth, but with an annual growth rate slowing from 29.3% to 11.8%, reaching 10,600 tons.
Steel pipe production also slowed, from 17.5% to 14.1%, reaching 26,100 tons.
Aluminum foil production, meanwhile, reversed a 23.7% decline to 4.6% growth, reaching 18,900 tons.
