
ArmInfo. Cognac and wine production in Armenia has significantly decreased by December 2025, according to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
From January to November 2025, 12.4 million liters of cognac were produced in the country, a 32.2% year- on-year decline. Wine production volume also decreased by 26% to 6.7 million liters. Whiskey production saw a 1.4% year-on-year decrease to 4.7 million liters. On the other hand, the production of sparkling wine (champagne) increased by 1.2% - to 1.2 million liters. There was a notable increase in the production of vodka, liqueur and other alcoholic beverages, rising by 27.4% to 1.5 million liters. Beer production also increased by 10.8% to 29.9 million liters.
