
ArmInfo. The unemployment rate in Armenia fell to 11.8% in the third quarter of 2025, down from 13.3% during the same period in 2024. According to data from the RA Statistics Committee, the quarterly unemployment rate also decreased from 12.3% in the second quarter of 2025.
At the same time, the annual employment rate in the country saw a slight decline, dropping from 52.2% in the third quarter of 2024 to 52.1% in the third quarter of 2025 (compared to 51.2% in the second quarter of 2025). Specifically, the employed population totaled 1.210 million people, which is 0.1% lower than the previous year, with a 1.6% increase over the quarter. The number of unemployed decreased by 13.1% over the year, amounting to 161.3 thousand people. Over the quarter, the number of unemployed decreased by 3%. By December 2025, employer demand for labor increased by 10.4% annually, reaching 3,196 people. The ratio of job seekers to vacancies was 17 people per vacancy ( an annual decline of 15%).
