German-funded water and energy programs discussed in Yerevan

Tigran Khachatryan received Claudia Busch, Ambassador Extraordinary  and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia.  According to the government press service, the meeting was also  attended by Madeleine Rauschenberger, Director of the Armenian Office  of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), and Zara  Chatinyan, representative of the Armenian Office of the German  Development Bank (KfW).

Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the current  momentum of bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the importance of  further deepening cooperation in priority areas defined by the  strategic agenda of the Armenian-German partnership.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the  implementation of development programs in areas of mutual interest,  including water resource management, modernization of irrigation  systems, and improving energy connectivity.
