
ArmInfo. Armenia's four telecom operators contributed 92.3 billion drams to the state treasury in 2025, marking an 11% increase in tax revenues. According to data from the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, out of this total, 324.3 million drams were paid in customs duties, 10.7 billion in direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), and 19 billion in VAT. VIVA Armenia maintained its leadership among Armenia's telecom operators for the fourth consecutive year, ranking 16th (compared to 14th in 2024). The company paid 18.7 billion drams to the state treasury, including 77.6 million drams in customs duties, 5.8 billion in direct taxes (including profit tax and income tax), and 8.3 billion in VAT.
UCom remained in 26th place, paying 11.9 billion drams in taxes, including 171.5 million in customs duties, 2.1 billion in direct taxes (including profit tax and income tax), and 5.4 billion in VAT. Telecom Armenia (TEAM trademark) took 31st place (versus 27th in 2024), paying 9.8 billion drams to the state treasury, including 74.4 million in customs duties, 2.2 billion in direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), and 4.4 billion in VAT.
GNC Alfa (OVIO trademark) rose from 270th to 205th place, paying 1.7 billion drams to the state budget in taxes, including 607,000 in customs duties, 711.8 million in direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), and 876.5 million in VAT.
It should be noted that in 2024, Armenia's four telecom operators contributed 38.1 billion drams to the state treasury, a 2.8% year-on-year decline. Of this amount, 367.9 million drams were paid in customs duties, 10.7 billion in direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), and 16.6 billion in VAT.
