ArmInfo.. On February 25, 2026, a memorandum was signed in Yerevan between the Universal Health Insurance Fund and three insurance companies - Nairi Insurance, Rego Insurance, and Armenia Insurance. Thus, all seven insurance companies operating in the country have now joined the universal health insurance system.
During the event, RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan highlighted the significance of public-private partnerships, which allow for mutually beneficial approaches. For instance, private insurance companies could supplement the basic insurance package. The Minister expressed confidence that the signing of the document will benefit not only citizens but also the insurance market.
