
ArmInfo.Armenian producers will participate in the international wine and spirits exhibition BCB Convent Berlin for the second time. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Armenia will be represented by a national pavilion. Every year, over 550 exhibitors from 50 countries participate in the exhibition, and the number of visitors reaches 15,000.
According to the source, BCB Convent Berlin will be held this year from October 12 to 14 in Berlin. According to the RA Statistical Committee, cognac production in Armenia declined by 27.4% year-on-year in 2025 (compared to a 2.5% increase in 2024), reaching a volume of 14.4 million liters. Wine production also lingered in decline, with annual growth rates slowing from 29% to 23.3%, reaching 7.7 million liters.
During the reporting year, 1.6 million liters of vodka, liqueur, and other spirits were produced in Armenia, a 23.9% increase from the previous year (compared to an 18.3% decline in 2024). Whiskey production growth slowed significantly, from a sixfold increase in 2024 to a stagnant 0.4% in 2025, reaching 5.3 million liters. Beer production, on the other hand, accelerated from 3% to 10.5%, reaching 32.1 million liters.
According to the RA Customs Service, Armenia reduced its wine exports by 31.8% in the first half of 2025 (compared to a 3.6% increase a year earlier), reaching 1.4 million liters. Meanwhile, the customs value of exported wine decreased by 12.6% to $7.3 million. Germany accounted for only 0.7% of this volume.
