This was stated by Matt Beal, Senior Vice President of Development at Oracle Corporation, during talks with Ruben Simonyan, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia. The meeting took place in Barcelona as part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which began on March 2.
Specifically, the American representative noted that Oracle operates similar centers in India, and the company is exploring new regions to expand its presence. Given our country's technological development, he noted that Armenia could also become a promising market.
Matt Beal presented Oracle Corporation's digital governance programs to the Armenian side, noting that the company actively collaborates with governments around the world to digitalize government systems, effectively manage data, and improve the quality of public services. Ruben Simonyan, in turn, presented the Armenian government's vision for high technology, strategic priorities aimed at developing the industry, and programs being implemented in this area. He noted that Armenia aims to create a competitive technology ecosystem integrated into international markets. The Deputy Minister also emphasized that the state is creating favorable conditions for developing cooperation.
According to the press service of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, during the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation. An agreement was reached to continue discussions to explore specific formats and possible areas of collaboration.
