ArmInfo. The international tourism exhibition ITB Berlin 2026 opened in Berlin on March 3, bringing together leading industry representatives from around the world.

The Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of  Armenia, together with representatives of Armenian tourism companies,  is presenting the country's diverse tourism offerings in a single  pavilion, focusing on cultural heritage, gastronomy, winemaking, and  adventure tourism opportunities.

According to the ministry's press service, a series of meetings and  discussions with international partners are planned as part of the  exhibition, with the aim of expanding cooperation, attracting new  markets, and strengthening Armenia's position as an attractive  tourist destination.

According to the Tourism Committee, 2.26 million tourists visited  Armenia in 2025, an increase of 2.7% compared to the previous year.  Of this number, German tourists accounted for 1.5%, or 34.1 thousand.

As a reminder, ITB Berlin is one of the largest and most prestigious  international tourism exhibitions in the world, annually bringing  together tourism professionals from dozens of countries. Held since  1966, the exhibition has grown from a small industry fair into a  global platform for business contacts, the exchange of experiences,  and the showcase of tourism services and products from around the  world.

The event attracts tens of thousands of tourism industry  professionals, including representatives of travel agencies,  airlines, hotel chains, travel technology developers, and other  travel-related organizations. ITB Berlin offers exhibits, thematic  pavilions, conferences, seminars, and programs for business  networking and contract negotiation.

The platform includes a business-to-business section where industry  representatives discuss current trends, technologies, marketing  strategies, and international cooperation, as well as the ITB Berlin  Convention-a congress program featuring experts and industry leaders.
