
ArmInfo.The international tourism exhibition ITB Berlin 2026 opened in Berlin on March 3, bringing together leading industry representatives from around the world.
The Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, together with representatives of Armenian tourism companies, is presenting the country's diverse tourism offerings in a single pavilion, focusing on cultural heritage, gastronomy, winemaking, and adventure tourism opportunities.
According to the ministry's press service, a series of meetings and discussions with international partners are planned as part of the exhibition, with the aim of expanding cooperation, attracting new markets, and strengthening Armenia's position as an attractive tourist destination.
According to the Tourism Committee, 2.26 million tourists visited Armenia in 2025, an increase of 2.7% compared to the previous year. Of this number, German tourists accounted for 1.5%, or 34.1 thousand.
As a reminder, ITB Berlin is one of the largest and most prestigious international tourism exhibitions in the world, annually bringing together tourism professionals from dozens of countries. Held since 1966, the exhibition has grown from a small industry fair into a global platform for business contacts, the exchange of experiences, and the showcase of tourism services and products from around the world.
The event attracts tens of thousands of tourism industry professionals, including representatives of travel agencies, airlines, hotel chains, travel technology developers, and other travel-related organizations. ITB Berlin offers exhibits, thematic pavilions, conferences, seminars, and programs for business networking and contract negotiation.
The platform includes a business-to-business section where industry representatives discuss current trends, technologies, marketing strategies, and international cooperation, as well as the ITB Berlin Convention-a congress program featuring experts and industry leaders.
