
ArmInfo. In January 2026, the production of all domestically produced alcoholic beverages in Armenia increased, with the exception of sparkling wine (champagne), as evidenced by data from the RA Statistical Committee.
Specifically, the production of sparkling wine (champagne) decreased by 32.8% year-on-year to 33.1 thousand liters. Meanwhile, cognac production increased by 20.5% to 998.7 thousand liters, wine by 11.4% to 389.2 thousand liters, and whiskey by 13.5% to 172.5 thousand liters. The production volume of vodka, liqueur and other alcoholic beverages also increased by 17.9% annually to 45.5 thousand liters, while beer production rose by 22.6% annually to 1.5 million liters.
