Yerevan Traffic Management Center implementing digital transport  monitoring

ArmInfo. The Yerevan Traffic Management Center, established in January 2026, has already completed approximately 70% of the route network and stop comparison work, and 81 routes (64 bus, 5 trolleybus, and 12 minibus) have been digitized. Eduard Ayvazyan, Director of the Center, announced this during a  working meeting of the City Hall.

According to him, the Center is currently staffed at approximately  60% of its capacity. Wialon and Nimbus systems are being used for  monitoring in a pilot mode, reducing the number of missed stops from  81 to 35.

At the same time, 125 route deviations were identified (75 in  January, 50 in February), some routes have been improved, and 322  citizen complaints have been reviewed. In addition, a cooperation  agreement was reached with Yandex. Ayvazyan noted that the  possibility of using Yandex software solutions for the Center's  operations is being considered.

The Center's priorities include digitalizing route network  monitoring, implementing dispatch management tools, creating a  unified data analytics system, and improving public transportation  efficiency.

The "Yerevan Traffic Management Center" aims to create a data-driven  public transportation management system for the capital, providing  analytical information on overall mobility, Ayvazyan emphasized.
