ArmInfo. The Armenian government is assisting internally displace persons from Nagorno-Karabakh in establishing small businesses, as stated by RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Arsen Torosyan, during a government hour  on March 25.

According to him, the self-employment program adopted at the end of  last year is still being implemented.  It  aims to assist  individuals, who, for various reasons, are unable to find work and  who have benefited from the housing program. The acceptance of  applications only began recently, as preparations for the process,  including business training, were necessary. The financial  contribution for each project should not exceed 2 million drams. As  of March 24, 76 applications have already been received. The minister  noted that there are many applications, but not all meet the  established criteria.

Another program, set to be approved at the government meeting on  March 26, involves adjusting the price of housing certificates in  Yerevan. The total cost for acquiring a certificate will be 4 million  drams, up from the current 3 million drams. As of now, 5,217 people  have already received certificates.
