Bulgarian Ambassador, President of Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and  Industry discuss prospects for developing cooperation with Armenia

Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Nikola Nikolov visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and met with its President Tsvetan Simeonov.  The meeting discussed issues related to the development of trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Armenia, as well as the potential for strengthening cooperation between the two chambers.

According to the press service of the Bulgarian Embassy in Armenia,  the renewal of the 2003 Cooperation Agreement between the Bulgarian  Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Armenian Chamber of Commerce  and Industry was discussed.

The agenda also included expanding the exchange of information on  investment and business opportunities, promoting international fairs  and exhibitions, organizing online presentations and business forums  and mutual visits by business delegations. Agriculture and the food  industry, along with existing market niches for Bulgarian products in  Armenia, were highlighted as promising sectors for developing  cooperation.

Nikolov also emphasized the significant potential for tourism  development, citing the lack of direct flights and the need for more  active promotion of Bulgarian resorts as key challenges.
